Project “Sweet home” (2022)
On 24 February 2022, Russian Federation attacked Ukraine. Millions of Ukrainians have been forced to flee for neighbouring countries. Approximately 90 percent of them are women and children who took refuge in the distant relatives homes, refuge camps or even in the families of strangers.
I'm one of those women. My 4-year-old son and I have left Ukraine because of the war and ended up in the home and family of strangers. It would seem that we are safe now, we have a shelter and people around ready to help. But what is it like for people who have been forced to leave their homes to feel when they live next to careless families? What do they feel living in other people's homes? What they really think but unable to tell?
